  1. Software Development Engineer 1

    February 2023 — March 2024 | @HYCU, Inc | Bangalore, India

    Designed and developed data backup and recovery solutions in the IAM (Identity and Access Management) domain for SaaS apps such as Okta, Azure AD and AWS IAM to help SaaS users recover their critical data at different granularity levels.

    Reduced data backup time by 12x through the implementation of resilience strategies & code optimization, resulting in a 70% increase in sales and onboarding of 8+ new customers, each with 20k-1M+ users in their Okta tenant.

    Developed REST APIs in Django (DRF) & microservices in Java with OAuth 2.0 implementation.

    Optimized API performance through rate-limiting & django caching. Automated unit & integration tests using pytest.

    Independently delivered 3 products on tight deadlines, involved in complete lifecycle from conceptualization to deployment (requirement analysis, planning, design, implementation)

  2. Data Engineer Intern

    June 2021 — August 2021 | @Flash Tech Company | Remote

    Worked with SAP HANA database to fetch and prepare the data to increase customer engagement on the Nesto app.

    Increased 20M+ rows data processing speed by 10X using parallel processing tools like Modin Pandas, Dask, and Ray.

    Created ETL Pipeline to fetch the data from SAP HANA database, processing it in Jupyter notebook and loading it into the Postgres database.

    March 2024 - Present | 2 active customers

    Building a SaaS to help businesses manage their customers and products inventory, track sales and generate sell/purchase invoices for multiple GST firms registered within the company.

    Using Next.js App router model to build REST APIs and headless UI library Shadcn UI to design the UI.

    Utilized Clerk for user authentication and lifecycle management, MongoDB for data storage, AWS S3 to store product images and Notion for project management and documentation.

    Designed and developed a web solution for college geeks in Django for students to learn from their peers's work while managing course activities and assignments at one place.

    Personal Project: Full Stack Development

    Developed an app with features of multiple rooms creation, emoji messages, and scrolling down for recent messages.

    Implemented WebSockets using Socket.IO to maintain a two-way interactive communication session between two users.

    Get to learn about CORS mechanism. Used NodeJS for backend and ReactJS for frontend.
